Today is the mid-point between seasons, celebrated in mystical rituals as Imbolc, the feast day of Saint Brigid’s in the Gaelic tradition. According to pagan history, Brigid, the Goddess of Imbolc, teaches us to nurture the seeds of healing and new growth during the dark winter days. Since the January Eclipses, I’ve been feeling new energy in the ether initiating a fresh start, activating a timeline zero point reset into higher dimensional living. This is a very fertile period for new creations to gain traction. Concentrate on projects that are dearest to your heart, the cosmos is providing more willpower to see them through.
Up next is the positive influence of a New Moon on February 4th at 15º Aquarius, conjunct Mercury and trine Jupiter. The Aquarian New Moon enhances optimism, generosity and increased spiritual awareness and insight. The world could use some positive vibes during such challenging times. This is the perfect time to start a daily meditation practice, ideal for self-reflection and dreaming. Carve out some self-care time to build a stronger connection between heaven and earth, Soul and human, and mysticism and scientific thought.
Then on February 5th the Chinese New Year launches the year of the Earth Pig, the twelfth sign of Eastern astrology. Easy-going Earth Pig offers some relief after two intense years, allowing us to assimilate the upgrades and make it more earth-bound. The Earth Pig does have a tendency to overindulge…do your best to maintain balance and not over-do it. Balance in all things opens opportunities.
The next Full Moon arrives on February 19th at 0° Virgo…another zero point lunar event that forms a harmonious trine aspect (120°) with the Mars-Uranus conjunction. The positive vibes continue, as the Virgo Full Moon helps us launch new projects off the ground. February is an excellent time to convert your visions/goals into positive change in your life. Enjoy the coming weeks as a ‘breather’ break to catch up, adjust and ignite new growth in your life.
